Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Botanic app (“Botanic” or “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Botanic encompasses AI-powered plant recognition, plant care, and AI chat services (“Services”) offered by GreenCode (“GreenCode”, “we”). These Terms grant you the right to use the Services only within the scope defined herein.

1. Company and Parties

These Terms are between GreenCode and you (“User”). The company name, address, and contact information are located in the in-app support section or Privacy Policy. Support: support.greencode@gmail.com

You represent that you are at least 18 years old (or, if you are under the legal age of majority where applicable, you are using this with the consent of your parent/guardian) and that you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms bindingly. To the extent prohibited by the legislation in the European Economic Area, users under the age of 16 are not permitted to use Botanic.

Parents/Guardians: By granting permission for your child to download, install, or purchase, you agree to these Terms on their behalf and assume responsibility for supervision.

2. License and Intellectual Property

Subject to compliance with these Terms, GreenCode grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-sublicensable, and non-transferable license to access, download, and install the current version of Botanic on a single authorized mobile device that you own or control. Use may only be for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes.

The application, trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other related intellectual property rights belong to GreenCode. Extraction, reverse engineering, translation, creation of derivative works, copying, modification, rental, sale, distribution, or unauthorized use of the trademarks are prohibited. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

3. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to engage in any conduct that is contrary to applicable law and morality. In particular, the following are prohibited:

• Use for illegal purposes;

• Damaging, obstructing, manipulating, or circumventing security measures of the Application;

• Interfering with the Application using malware, spam, or unauthorized automated tools;

• Uploading or sharing content that infringes on the rights of others;

• Presenting Botanic output as if it were solely human-generated;

• Developing competing models using Botanic.

In case of violation, GreenCode may temporarily or permanently restrict access or terminate these Terms; the right to pursue necessary legal remedies is reserved.

4. Connection, Device, and Fees

Some features require an active internet connection. GreenCode is not responsible for the Services not functioning fully due to the absence of Wi-Fi or mobile data. Mobile network, roaming, and similar charges are your responsibility; if someone else is paying the device bill, we assume you have their permission. You are responsible for the device's charging, security (rooting/jailbreaking is not recommended), and the protection of access tools.

5. Updates and Service Termination

GreenCode reserves the right to change features, make the Service paid, or terminate the Service. If a fee is charged, it will be clearly stated what you are paying for. System requirements may change; you agree to accept updates to continue using the service. GreenCode does not guarantee continuous updates for every platform/version. Your rights expire when the Service ends; you should stop using the Application and delete it from your device if necessary.

6. Not Health or Professional Advice

Botanic outputs do not replace professional health, veterinary, or expert botanical advice. Always seek expert advice regarding toxicity, allergies, or health issues. GreenCode cannot be held responsible for information, data, or communication provided through the Application in this context.

7. User Content (Input and Output)

Images, texts, and other data that you upload or transmit to the Services are considered “Input”; The text, responses, and similar results generated by the Services are “Output” (collectively, “User Content”).

You represent that you have the necessary rights to the input and that you provide it in accordance with the law. From the moment of uploading, you grant GreenCode a worldwide, non-exclusive, free, sublicensable, and transferable license to operate, improve, debug, maintain, and customize (including new features) current and future products.

GreenCode does not endorse or is not obligated to review User Content; you are responsible for the content and its results. Output is generated by artificial intelligence; it may be inaccurate, misleading, or similar to similar inputs. GreenCode makes no guarantee of accuracy or suitability; reliance on Output is entirely at your own risk.

8. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Some features may be free; premium features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store (and other stores, if applicable); billing,
