Privacy Policy

A legal disclaimer

The Find Air application (hereinafter: 'App') is created by GreenCode, a mobile application development company (hereinafter: 'GreenCode', 'we', 'us' or 'our').

This Privacy Policy is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR 2016/679). GreenCode is a mobile application development and publishing company. We design and build apps for iOS devices including iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.

By using the App, you are consenting to our processing of data as set forth in this Privacy Policy. Our Terms of Use apply to your use of the App.

1. What Data Does the App Collect?

1.1 We collect data about you and the way the App is used in the following ways:

a. Automatically Collected Data The App automatically collects certain data, such as: the type of device you use, device identifiers including the resettable advertising identifier assigned to your device, the IP address of your device, geographical data such as the general location of your device, your operating system, the type of internet browser or app environment you use, data connection status, and data about the way you use the App.

If you have activated Bluetooth and granted the App permission to scan for nearby devices, the App will collect signal strength data (RSSI) from Bluetooth devices in your vicinity solely for the purpose of proximity detection. This data is processed locally on your device and is not stored or transmitted to our servers.

If you have activated Location Services and granted the App permission to access your location, the App may collect general location data for analytics and troubleshooting purposes.

b. User Provided Data The App obtains data you provide when you download and use the App. This may include: (a) data you provide when contacting us for support, such as your name and email address; (b) transaction-related data, such as when you make in-app purchases or subscribe to premium features; and (c) data you enter into the App during use.

c. Third-Party Sources We may also receive data from third-party analytics and advertising partners and may combine it with data collected directly through the App.

2. Data Sharing and Advertising

2.1 To the extent feasible, we only use your data in an anonymized, hashed, or obfuscated way. We only use personally identifiable information to the extent required to provide our services.

2.2 We may share your data with third parties in the following circumstances: (a) as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process; (b) when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud; (c) with trusted service providers who work on our behalf and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this Privacy Policy; and (d) with third-party advertising networks and analytics companies as described below.

2.3 We may use and share data, including automatically collected data, in an anonymized or obfuscated way for advertising purposes. We do not pass personally identifiable data to ad networks or advertisers. Third-party advertising partners may use the advertising identifier assigned to your device to serve interest-based advertisements within the App and on other platforms.

2.4 We may work with analytics companies to help us understand how the App is used, such as the frequency and duration of usage.

2.5 If you have granted the App access to your precise location, we may share this data with advertising partners in order to provide localized advertising within the App.

2.6 The premium (paid) versions of the App do not contain advertising and will not use your data for advertising purposes. Data collection tools may still operate in the background for analytics, but will not be used to serve interest-based ads.

3. Managing Your Data

3.1 You can stop all data collection by the App by uninstalling it using the standard uninstall process available on your device or via the App Store.

3.2 You may opt out of precise location data collection at any time by disabling Location Services for the App in your iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Find Air.

3.3 You may opt out of Bluetooth scanning at any time by disabling Bluetooth permission for the App in your iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Bluetooth → Find Air.

3.4 iOS devices include an advertising identifier (IDFA — Identifier for Advertisers). You can reset this identifier or opt out of interest-based advertising via iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. You may also enable "Limit Ad Tracking" to restrict how your identifier is used across apps.

3.5 The NAI and the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) offer opt-out tools for managing your advertising preferences. For more information, please visit: http://networkadvertising.org/choices/ or https://aboutads.info

4. Business Transfers

4.1 Data about you may be disclosed as part of any merger, acquisition, or sale of company assets. In the unlikely event of insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership, your data may also be transferred as a business asset.

5. Children

5.1 The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes that their child has provided us with personal data without consent, please contact us at support.mydevicetracker@gmail.com and we will delete or anonymize such data within a reasonable time.

6. Security

6.1 We are committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of your personal data. We implement physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the data we process and maintain. Access to personal data is limited to authorized personnel who require it to operate, develop, or improve the App.

6.2 Please be aware that while we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no security system can prevent all potential breaches. We use anonymization techniques to minimize the use of personally identifiable information wherever possible.

6.3 Bluetooth scanning data (device names and signal strength) is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to or stored on GreenCode servers.

7. Data Retention Policy

7.1 We will retain User Provided Data for as long as you use the App and for a reasonable time thereafter. Automatically Collected Data will be retained for up to 12 months, after which it may be stored in aggregate form only.

7.2 If you would like us to delete User Provided Data associated with your use of the App, please contact us at support.mydevicetracker@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Please note that some User Provided Data may be required for the App to function properly.

8. Changes to This Policy

8.1 This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Privacy Policy on our website. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact us at support.mydevicetracker@gmail.com
